I wanna make sure people know I bake treats, though I'm a very chill girl.

I ride a and love to drink each day.

@xanthia AMA, MotoGP? What are you riding?

My main years ago was a frankenstein mid 90s ZX6 I also did a fair amount of road trips on as well as trackdays.

I gave them up for bicycles. I'd say it's safer but not really on the roads around here :(

@Troll TT is my fave! We went to IOM last year and plan on 2018!

Then BSB, then WSBK, then MotoGP.

I became less invested in AMA when they had horrible tv coverage, and lost women riders (who I love to cheer on).

I'm scared of bicycles, you can die on those things! Hah!

@xanthia Yeah, went to a few AMA races. Not realizing that was the hayday. It went to crap just a few short years later. Road America and Barbers. Both AWEsome tracks to ride too! I did see MotoGP at Indy once. Pretty cool. I don't follow any of it anymore :(

@Troll Oh yeah! I have a 2016 Honda Africa Twin, and I just sold my to a newb. The rest of the house is all (tiger xCx and street triple r)

@xanthia Street Triple was high on my list for a time.

@xanthia California seems like a better fit for a motorcycle fiend! I used to have a '78 Yamaha XS750 Special, but I could only ride it for 4 months of the year.

...also, one time the engine lit on fire while I was riding it down the highway. The switch to fuel injection was a good one.

@xanthia I had a broken petcock that leaked too much fuel into the cylinders, which then overflowed into the oil reserve. Once the engine warmed up, it spit a mixture of fuel and oil up the breather line onto the top of the hot engine and I was riding napalm. Luckily, I was wearing full gear so I could brake and bail without getting hurt :)

@Phancypants where's a toasted nuts emoji when I need one?

@xanthia Hah! I'm going to be honest... they did not cover that situation in rider training. I was between 2 small towns with volunteer fire departments so they sent out about a dozen fire vehicles as training when I called rescue!

They seemed really disappointed that it had gone out before they got there.

@Phancypants Oh, that would be sad riding only 4 months out of the year!

I've only had an engine blow up on the highway (while I was lane splitting) with no fire. Damn! That would have sucked!

@xanthia Now I'm picturing you pinballing between busses shouting "It's mechanical! Not me!"

@Phancypants Hah, that was almost kind of accurate, with more surging than pinballing!
