Y'know, tech companies are completely stupid.

Their entire business model is interconnecting people...but they insist on having their own employees in an office immediately to hand all the time.

If they dogfooded their own "innovation" then perhaps they wouldn't have as much of a -problem- with finding goddamn 'talent' to fix their issues.

@munin I don’t think they’re interested in that. I know of multiple tech companies, only some in Silicon Valley, who actively forbid real remote work. Oh sure, work from home once in a while, but actually being remote and using the infrastructure that was designed to enable remote work? Oh hell no, don’t dare even ask.

Friend of mine, his company is taking that a step further—all current remote workers must relocate to one specific office this year or resign.
