@CobaltVelvet Is it a known issue that sometimes media from other instances doesn't show up on my timeline if I'm following someone, but if I go to their tootlist, I can see it there?

@Averly @CobaltVelvet I'm getting it both in-app and on the web, so it's probably not just your app. I'm only figuring it out because of toots that seem out of context until you go and find the previous toot that has an embedded image.
@CobaltVelvet @Averly My specific example is @ Damage@mastodon.social--I missed two image posts from about 5 hours ago and 22 hours ago, but saw all the public text posts. However, I DID see the image post from 23 hours ago, which immediately precedes the one from 22 hours ago.
Hmm, looking at @ ginnymcqueen@mastodon.social, I'm missing some of her text AND media posts, but not all of them. :/
@CobaltVelvet @Averly Continuing to scroll back, it looks like I'm missing toots all over the place, text and media. It seems to be random.
@vjgoh @Averly @CobaltVelvet I have also been seeing this. It was particularly noticeable during the caturday fun when clearly there was supposed to be a cat image but you could only see it at their instance. I had forgotten about this
@CobaltVelvet @vjgoh there's been a few recent posts of mine with images, and some people from other instances (including yours) mentioned they couldn't see the images. Note: it didn't make a difference between using the web or the iOS app. So now I'm just trying to also send out a link to the image shared somewhere online. Any idea? ๐
@CobaltVelvet @Averly And as a last comment, it looks like I'm having no trouble with any posts of any type for people on our instance.
