Friendly reminder that if you don't support HEIF images on your web application you'll have a bunch of unhappy iOS users when iOS11 releases o/
Compliments of Apple :3
iOS should just convert images to JPEG when you upload them to websites. -_- @eurasierboy
@jelle619 We can only hope that it's a bug in the current beta
I’m afraid it isn’t. Apple likes to force people to use their new technologies. :-S @eurasierboy
@eurasierboy @jelle619 @sanspoint even if it isn't explicitly a bug, file a big report about it. Either way, apple should know what people think the correct behaviour is.
@jelle619 ha, well, perhaps pass it on to someone who can file the bug on your behalf, then. :)
I would if I could, but I can’t. See, I’m running the developer beta, even though my Apple ID isn’t registered as a iOS developer. To report something, I have to sign in with my Apple ID and send all kinds of diagnostic information about my device to Apple and I rather not do that on a version of iOS I’m not supposed to be running. :P @vjgoh
