Since Mastodon.social has been down for registration, what id driving you to pick your particular instance?
Personally I went with the next highest userbase, uptime, and the stated amount of federation.

@Rasgueado I tried finding an instance operated by someone from my country, probably more network efficient (though honestly I have no idea :wink: )
@Rasgueado Also I think the domain name had an influence.
