@upside seems to be case sensitive, which is odd. Is that a limitation of the mastodon api or something on your end?

@upside Where do you get the data for that? Is it just the messages on a single server?
@loke Yes. I have a list of highly-connected instances. When you search, one is picked at random and searched upon for toots with the tag.
A trick is to press return again to get a results from a different instance (instances federate differently, so results vary).
