i definitely think this focus on increasing mechanical skill is working out

@tcql how have you been working on it? that’s really my main bottleneck since i dont have years of computer gaming to rely on for Skills™ and i’ve been debating the best way to go about it

@setavulos i tooted a bit the other day, but cranking down mouse sensitivity has been really interesting for me, and i can ramble about the theory on that. also intentionally playing more accuracy-based heroes, like more soldier 76, tracer, or zenyatta or ana if i'm healing

my regulars used to be moira (no real aiming needed), d.va (some aiming, but you can just fly at people) or orisa (just shield, park and shoot, aim helps but isn't strictly required)

@setavulos my weapon accuracy for soldier is up 3% in the past 3 days, up 6% from a few weeks ago (when i rarely played him)

@tcql yeah i think retraining myself without mouse acceleration on will help a lot and then adjusting the sensitivity is the next step. are you in custom games or just in quick play?

@setavulos yea, a fair bit of QP, also good amount of deathmatch since i can just pay attention to specifically what i'm doing and not strategy really. but that gets boring after too long, so i'm mixing it up

@tcql i think i might pick up tracer since i like her and think i would be happy playing as her. i’d just have to learn cooldown management for abilities. have you found that an issue on new heroes you’re learning? it took me a bit to start to understand timing with zarya’s bubbles to maintain charge, for instance
