@taiz life seems pretty bleak if you think about it, we spend a quarter of it going through school instead of pursuing our passions and then we spend 2/3 of whats left working as glorified slaves (if we’re lucky that is), then we spend the rest of our time rotting in a retirement home alone when we aren’t strong enough to work to make some rich guy richer anymore

now, take that example and add love. spending your time in school having friends, falling in love, making memories you’ll cherish. legitimately being happy despite the circumstances. instead of working alone, you could live with a partner you love, and have children who love you. you could have a family, and be surrounded by those you love day by day. retirement could mean spending time with your family, and old friends, and visits from your children, and their children

@taiz you don’t have to hate. you don’t have to see people as evil. many people on the far-right fail to see that. they refuse love, and as a result, they become bitter and spread their bitterness. trust me, i’ve been there, they close themselves off to people and wonder why they’re hurting

love can hurt. the person you love could betray you someday. but you have to understand there’s good in everyone. it’s easy to give in and lose sight of that when you’re angry. but as long as you’re open to loving people, despite their beliefs, their race, their gender, or anything else, love will find you too.
