So I am getting rid of a mop on Craigslist that has a replaceable sponge that costs $7-10. In my listing, I include that information. I got a message asking where you can find the sponges for $7. My first reaction was annoyance - do your own darn research. But my second was that not everyone is as good at internet research as me. So I messaged them back and told them the local stores that have it cheapest. I got a thank you note saying that they'd been paying $10 and were glad to find it cheaper
I'm really glad I didn't ignore them. I'm really glad I can save them $12/year or whatever.
I really really hate that we live in a world where that amount of money matters to so many people.
Also if you live in Vancouver and want a hardly used vileda bee mop that you can replace the sponge on for ~$7 (at Canadian Tire) or ~$10 (at London Drugs), let me know.
I'm selling it for $1 on Craigslist but it's free to masto-friens!
