I'd heard the Netherlands was really racist and hanging on to their colonial attitudes with both hands, but reading about the history of Chinese people in Amsterdam really nailed it down for me. There's been Chinese immigration to the city for 400 years and the vast majority of Chinese workers are in the restaurant industry today.
