When someone breaks down the details of the steps to do something I do without thinking about, I realize I have a lot of skills that I forget I have.
@KnotKnormal Yeah, training this new guy who has never done anything in retail or food service has made me realize just how much I take for granted. Maine was going through the steps to hummus, and I didn't even think of the things I do that he's describing. I just do them. And if you break down anything for a new person, you see so many details you forget, most of the time. It's quite fascinating to me right now.
@stillinhere That was something I had to remember to do when I was teaching Judo to beginners. Something that was second nature to me was often two or three steps I had to remember to show them.
