@starbreaker starting my Master's in CS at KU Leuven next year, the options for picking non-STEM classes are really disappointing. You get to take up 12-14 (out of 120) credits worth from a list of "General education" classes. Most of them are either entrepreneurship (Yay! Dumb Start-ups!) or philosophy/history/ethics for engineers (yes, ethics are optional, ikr). Most people just pick the easiest ones and still fail.
Gender studies also an option though, so that's pretty cool imo.

@starbreaker what might also be relevant, KU Leuven is the "Most innovative university in europe" according to Reuters' data on patent applications, and it's treated as sort of a big deal. Just now figured that that's probably why it's all entrepreneurship and no humanities. If they wanna keep that position, it's best to teach that capitalism is a must, ethics are optional and humanities are for people who don't run cool start-ups.
Guess that means capitalism is bad, who woulda thunk.
