@moz The combat is OK. It's basically a third-person cover shooter with sci-fi superpowers and smarter squadmates than previous installments.
What I particularly like is that if you research remnant tech you can make guns that overheat instead of running out of ammo.
I missed that aspect of the original Mass Effect in ME2 and ME3, and never liked the notion of "swapping out heat sinks" as an excuse to bring back ammo mechanics.

@starbreaker I had some pretty creative weapon names but they were all "in-universe" which is lame but whatever, I like my canon-ishness
I may just play through again and call them something significantly more absurd and see what I can do with an engineer/tech-heavy build, since I usually played biotic-heavy builds
