@starbreaker I'm going to try my hand at installing OpenBSD on a "snow" iBook G4 over the weekend so will be intrigued to see how you get on.
Did you install a desktop or did you just stick to using the CLI?
@bobstechsite I have XFCE installed, but a 800MHz G4 with 256MB of RAM just isn't enough. So I use cwm (calm window manager), rxvt-unicode, and text-mode tools like joe, vim, cmixer, mpg123, flac123, mutt, and ranger. If cwm is too minimal, you could try openbox as your window mangler instead.
@bobstechsite You're welcome. Make sure to read the macppc instructions for OpenBSD, and as long as you handle partitioning properly and set up the Open Firmware boot, you should be fine.
