I'm curious, what book(s) are you currently reading?
Me: 1. Tales of Uncle Tompa -- The Legendary Rascal of Tibet
2. Origin by Dan Brown
@nobody So far Tales of Tompa is a fun read with incredibly interesting incites into Tibetan culture. I managed to find it at the Seattle library.
How are Bury Your Dead and The Damnation Affair?
Next on my list is Cathedral of the Sea.
@squerk Bury Your Dead is good, but it's fanservice for people who've read the other Gamache books. Not the strongest entry so far, but it's still compelling. I'm going to have to go back and research Quebec history when I'm done to find out how much of the history they mention is true.
I'm only a chapter or three into the Damnation Affair, but it's planting a lot of interesting seeds for later. Should be fun when it gets going.
Sunstone is next for comicbook club. BDSM squee love story
@squerk Bury Your Dead by Louise Penny, The Damnation Affair by @lilithsaintcrow , Swann's Way by Proust, and a couple kids books by Sarah Varon.
How is Tales of Tompa? Did you get it in a print edition?
