It's amazing how my grandmother blames everything that goes wrong with a grocery shopping trip on me. It's my fault pork chops now cost $9 instead of the $6 or $7 she paid last time. It's my fault she forgets an item because of something I said while she was filling out the list. It's my fault Sunbeam either doesn't make hot dog buns or Kroger doesn't stock them if they do... etc.
I do my best to make sense of what is often a nonsensical grocery list. As it is, I have to type the list in the computer so I can resort the items by the order I would go by them in the store (at least the order of the aisles, the point being to make one trip through the grocery store and not have to double back for every other item). Unfortunately this means the item she put first on the list is often not the first item when I load it onto my phone.
