So, there is a container extension put for Firefox that keeps Facebook contained against all else. That is good. Can I use it, now? Yeah. Do I want to? Ehhhhhhhh. Gotta think that one over and over. I wish for additional containers, though, to cover other social networks... including Mastodon.
@shadowstreik And you can set option for first party only. Although when installed most of sites wont work, but you can import some of the rules from github for major websites like youtube, facebook, twitter etc.
@shadowstreik You can get a general container add-on too. And it lets you make custom containers. Tbh I don't understand why they made a whole new add-on just for Facebook containers instead of adding Facebook as a default container in the other add-on.
@shadowstreik There is uMatrix, extension in which you can block everything what happens on site, including css, scripts etc. You can set your own rules for specific site or for all sites.
