Finally getting to read Nigel Thrift's "Non-Representational Theory"; liking it a lot so far, very useful piece in the #AlgorithmsThatMatter fabric as well.
Was listening to a musicological analysis framework in the French phenomenological tradition this afternoon which left me thinking - geeze, more of the same, the perpetuation of a 1950s/60s European ways of delimitating what musical "language" is and what not. That's why I love to read instead from people of entirely other disciplines.
