After almost four years using the same coding colorscheme, I sort of randomly made a one (for Vim) from scratch today
Decided to call it Pink Moon https://github.com/sts10/vim-pink-moon https://octodon.social/media/bm3h3r2evIxei2AIcYo
@nixy wow thanks. I’m still tinkering with the shades and which color goes where— let me know if something looks shitty
@nixy just pushed some changes... think they're all for the better-- colors more evenly used, better variable structure, etc. So if you run PlugUpdate and things change that's why! Hope the changes aren't for the worse in your opinion.
wondering if I can add "Veuve Cliquot orange" somewhere in there...
Made a couple tweaks to colors and which syntax groups get what color.
I lightened up the teal, the pink and the yellow, but I'm still not sure if the shade of the pink (FCDBD9) is quite right... (Maybe I should grab some blues from Mastodon's frontend)

tbh when I look at the pink half the time I think about the chicken mcnugget meat paste-- you know what I mean?
I could lighten it even further, but then in order to differentiate it from the white I think I'd have to put a little more blue in the white?
@schlink
This is really dope. I tend to be pretty attached to my colorschemes, but I'll definitely give this one a try.
