Really though, why does mastodon have to be the "twitter killer"? Can't it just be a thing?
Capitalism makes it so natural for us to rhink in terms of scarcity that usually doesn't exist or doesn't *have* to exist.
@JillianMaywhether My take. The media is spinning Mastodon "the twitter killer", most of the users, not all granted, but most I have read, simply state why Mastodon is a better alternative. Twitter will die, maybe not because of Mastodon, but because it's model and functionality is flawed, and it has outlasted itself.
