i just typed "brew install exim", and i'm wondering exactly where i went wrong in my life that led me to this point.

@chalcedony testing a library that needs to send email, but all the systems at work are configured to just listen on localhost (ie. there's no central smtp server i can point to without setting up new credentials). exim didn't want to run on my mac, so i ended up using an ssh tunnel to a server running it already.
