@pzmyers Also, we already have an adaptation of The Fountainhead starring Gary Cooper. Warner Bros. should just remaster that shit.

They might actually turn a profit that way, rather than sinking millions of dollars into a new production that will probably bomb as hard as the 2011 production of Atlas Shrugged, Part 1 ($20 budget, $4,627,375 box office)

Maybe this is one of those deals where Warner Bros is deliberately making shitty movies for tax purposes.

@pzmyers I take her seriously in the same way that, say, the "Things I Won't Work With" blog on the Pipeline takes FOOF or crazy azide chains seriously. I take her seriously in the the way takes the CDC takes Class III infectious diseases seriously.

@literorrery I agree. She's a potent social carcinogen, that's for sure.

@pzmyers @literorrery I still say she's a better writer than Jordan Petersen.

@pzmyers @literorrery

Not sure how I'd prove it, though, since while Rand ventured into non-fiction/pop philosophy after Atlas Shrugged, I haven't heard of any published novels by Jordan Petersen.

Still, I suppose one could compare Rand's pop philosophy corpus to Petersen's work, but by what criteria?
