@blobfish plus it's still so small that it's possible to watch what is effectively the global feed of every toot
@blobfish not quite everyone... it's complicated. Basically, for someone to see your post in the global feed, somebody on their instance has to follow you. So if you want to be seen on the "main" mastodon.social federated feed, somebody from there has to follow you.
@pyry that's why i love it. everyone has to see my trash posts, whether they like it or not
