i'm not a "believer in the federation". i don't believe in technology. i believe in commons: non-capitalistic ways of organizing society.
i think decentralized social media might work as a way to organize commons that are resistant to primitive accumulation of capital
in the end it's all down to people to change. no technology will do ut for us. not code, not law, not liberal principles, etc etc
quitter for me is one small part of a movement (?) toward a commons economy. the opposite to market-commodity-money-wages-growth society.
decentralized social media and open source software are tools, no more, no less. agpl for qvitter might have been a mistake. i don't know.
