Question: Will mastodon.social not taking new registrations turn potential users off, or will it bring home the whole disaggregated nature of this thing?
@Pedalville I think it would push more away if they're coming from another site and don't understand that it's more of a protocol, than a single service.
@oyasumi It took me a little bit of staring into the distance and scratching my head to start to get it. 30 seconds looking at the alternative instances to pick #octodon - loving it so far!
