@npd if the domain of the instance ends in rbs.io, it's probably me.

@ross sure, but I see the beauty of federation is that users can move -- maybe even move often -- to different servers, not that everyone has to maintain their own server.

@npd well, true as far as that goes, but switching email addresses in 2017 is actually a PITA. Still your point stands and I was just talking about myself. ☺️

Apparently Keybase is looking into adding Mastodon as a proof type, and in the meantime people are just pasting Keybase signed messages including their Keybase and Mastodon usernames into a long gibberish-looking message.
