Yesterday Gargron helped me get his take on the project, so that I can write a mission statement. But, I would also love to hear your take, so I can combine the two into our collective statement.

For me, Mastodon is a fresh non-incorporated take on social media where the goals of the project are still aligned with the goal of the people who use it. Mechanisms should be put in place to ensure it stays that way even when the project grows beyond the vision or control of the current development team. Also, this foundation https://timewellspent.io/ has admirable goals which I feel Mastodon would benefit from early on. #MastoTalk #MastoDev
