@mirabilis hmmmmmm. I am not sure I completely buy it. I'll have to properly read it. There's a great book about the Plague outbreak in San Francisco at the beginning of the 20th century, and that was rats. But what happened was, it spreads to humans via rats, who then predict it if it becomes pneumonic ie: spread by droplets in coughing. But that's way more difficult to catch than from flea bites. They autopsied thousands of rats throughout. (great book)
