hey yall recommend me headphones
• i don't wanna spend more than $150 or so. i'm willing to go that much because i want something which will last, but i'm not gonna drop like $400 on some bs pair.
• i listen to a _lot_ of music of diverse genres.
• i also produce music.
• i'd strongly prefer over-the-ear.

@mhu2141ai hmmmph i'd prefer not having open ones as i tend to use headphones to block out noise in public spaces when i'm working
@er1n Yeah, that seems to be the case.
I've never seen/heard closed-backs I liked and just go with IEMs if I want isolation, but I assume that's a non-option. If it wasn't I'd say try to find a deal on used ER4P (preferably from when they had user-removable cables? or the new iteration which still do)
It does suck how hard it is to find something where all of the extra $ above 60-80 goes to build
