@memnus In Canada I've only seen body scanners at US preclearance. If you're flying within Canada or internationally, it's usually metal detectors.

@memnus IIRC, the security theatre we have is is a "Merican thing. The rest of the world does more with less. I have friends who found it easier to fly in and out of Israel where they have real reasons to be a little jittery about security then they did going for Orlando to Atlanta. Also, Atlanta is bible-thumper country so you can't have booze on Sunday even if you're not one of them.
