@memnus the first skyline I ever fell in love with was Minneapolis as approached from the south on I-35. It does a similar peekaboo thing, though at a more, uh, Midwestern scale.
and omg of course there are youtube videos from people's dash cams driving into cities. of course.
@memnus That 's my sentiment as well. I love the first, distant view of the city that disappears behind the hills, then reemerges, so close to you, at the spot where you took your photo.
