Dawning realization: even the best IT staff in the world can’t do better than GitHub & TravisCI… obvious, still sad, that my workplace tech services can only do worse than those supporting my open-source/at-home work.

@koos my condolences, I often marvel and my good luck at finding a vocation that I love doing and that has good remote-work possibilities and that has great tools. So I'll take it that Gimp/Inkscape/Blender are not as good as the costly/closed tools?
