@dona I guess it's a question of the ethics of working for a miserable company versus stealing food to keep yourself alive.
By which I mean as long as you're conscious of your choices (which you clearly are) then I think you can justify taking this job to get by until something better can be found. Even if you don't like the company, the situation might provide enough material comfort that it'll help you get past that cycle of depression.

@komara Thank you so much for this. Yeah - I'm in a bad state financially, and I really want to get out and have a normal life again. The company seemed nice (although I'm cynical and don't believe those first impressions), it's just that the subject matter is a bit... eh. But work-wise I THINK it would be slightly easier than what I used to do before. Sigh, I'm just rambling at this point. Anyway - you are right, so thank you once more. :)
