@kirkman is the resistor needed to fool the thermal flasher, or to fool the burned-out-bulb sensor logic? in the former case, you could probably switch to a solid state flasher with minimal hassle (though you might need to add a ground wire).
@kirkman Looks like you're right. The Escape appears to do away with the separate flasher module entirely, and integrate it into a generalized solid state controller that uses current draw to detect burned out bulbs. Annoying.
