I think that in Germany, the only standardised test you take is the final set of hell exams. The four-hour ones you take at the end of your high school experience.
@kaye In the US the public school (taxpayer funded) teachers have unionized for Incompetence Protectionism. They become wildly agitated at the suggestion they be able to pass the high school Exit Exam.
American corporations are now faced with educating the kids who flow through these schools in reason, math, communication.
And every year this union lobbies for even more obscene amounts of money to corrupt more children
