Of course, the AfD prefers to not be called "the German Nazi party." However, there are only so many words to describe a racist, identitarian and anti-semitic political group that advocates for German nationalism, has deep ties to moneyed interests and wants a reinstatement of conscription for German men.
@pnathan Pretty much, yeah. They don't use swastikas and they don't heil anyone in public, and they usually remember to follow the letter of the anti-Nazi laws. Some groups associated with the party are being monitored by our equivalent of the FBI, though.
@pnathan I'm glad we have these laws (and that they actually get enforced). They're stopping some of the worst stuff.
The AfD is just as tedious as all the other neofascist parties, really. On any given issue, try to think what the wrongest possible opinion would be, and that's them.
