@nivex I'm not sure how to proceed. I vendor much of this stuff with years of muscle memory behind it. Stick with xenial and see what happens I guess. Exodus to snaps will push me elsewhere.
@juno And the sheer arrogance in the response from Canonical (#3). It used to be Ubuntu was a solid package development target. I guess you're just supposed to use snaps for everything now :/
