I'm not exactly new to the whole open source thing, I get it (I think), but this is the first time I kind of have something to contribute. Not code, per se, but QA feedback. Does #mastodon need any sort of QA process work to make it better? I kinda dig this thing, if only for its federated USENET-style model, but realize that most open source projects really, really like the smell of their own farts. QA helps people out of that trap.
@josheikenberry Chances are, they are way underwater in terms of dev time. If it's like other open source projects, the best thing you could do would be to submit a pull request that fixes something. But an issue on github with really specific feedback helps too
