Random incomplete thought:
The usual metrics for diversity in the workplace include gender and race/ethnicity. We're starting to see more around queerness etc. These are all good to know and track and improve upon.
What about adding in socio-economic background? What was your family net worth when you were a kid (broken into bands, of course)?
I have no idea what mine was, other than "upper middle class". So maybe just perceived bracket?
