Today I found that writing docs helps a lot with API design. When trying to document it, and I look at it with a WTF face, that means I fucked up.

@joeyh Thanks! I saw that blog post way back when, bookmarked it, and... forgot about it, like I do with so many things.
Now I've read it (and the linked previous ones), mighty useful. I should learn (and force myself) to document first. Would save me from so many mistakes!
