@Zahra I just read the news from several websites and still don't know how to answer. We live in a ridiculous political satire that is starting to seem normal.
In personal news, it's a lazy Saturday. Highlight will be meeting with my sketch group this afternoon to draw parts of Raleigh, North Carolina.
@churley79 I'll check it out. My group always meets in the same place, meaning we always sketch within the same quarter mile square. Getting old; I'm looking for new subjects.
@jdb or you could always go tag the free expression tunnel on State campus... 🤣
@jdb speaking of State campus... you ever drawn Reynolds? I love Reynolds coliseum. "The house that Case built."
@churley79 I haven't. Walked by it just today and read the placque on the Case statue. I will someday. Getting too hot to sit out at lunch and draw
@churley79 Oh, have you been inside Reynold's since the remodel? Amazing overhaul!
@jdb I have not. I want to see it though. I especially love the fact it was done by the Holt Bros. I went to few games there as a kid. then my buddy and I scraped together all the money we had to go see the last State vs Duke game there. I like the PNC and all, but nothing beats the atmosphere and home court of Reynolds. Good thing about the PNC though is the canes. I watched the hockey game last night and I remember how loud the arena got during the cup run.
@churley79 @jdb I am currently involved in university exams.
I do not really understand speech
@Zahra @churley79 Good luck with exams! In sure you'll do very well!
Thank you, but pray for me; they're too hard
@Zahra @jdb there's an old water treatment plant on Wilmington st heading out of Raleigh that I think is so cool looking. may be something you'd find interest in sketching.
