Storm mystery: We had a tree torn apart Wednesday night in the back yard. The top of the tree rested near the remaining stump. The trunk of the tree was ten yards up hill from the stump. I can't figure out the physics of it.
@jdb I'd say the tree tore apart, shifted uphill due to wind, at which point the top of the tree leaned back toward the trunk because hill.
@jdb When the physics aren't clear, there are only two possibilities: magic or aliens.
