I need to make this 1.25 hour each way daily transit commute work for me somehow.
I'm thinking of selling liquor on the bus to other weary transitors.
@jason they already sell soda and water and candies on the trains. Why not take it a step further and sell what everyone really wants?
@Gotterdammerung my thoughts exactly.
@jason
I respect those hustlers on the public trains, especially the Metro Blue Line here in Los Angeles/Long Beach. Always reliable or a cold drink on hot days. But I never saw anyone sell liquor or contraband. Probably too risky considering?
@jason How about knitting?
maybe they didn't mean LISTENING to podcasts, maybe the answer is RECORDING a daily podcast on there
@sydneyfalk okay, now THIS is intriguing to me!
@jason read a book? The electronic variety works for me for killing time perfectly.
super learning hyper mode...
3X speed audio books/classes...
I love it.
I'm driving 5 hours a day right now.
challenge mode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
listen to a whole semester of stanford startup school in one day :)
@jason Prostitution? Just throwing stiff out there....
@jason I commute 1 1/2 each way on BART/Caltrain. On the way down I pay bills and manage the household and on the way back I usually read. I wouldn't pick this commute if I had an equivalent job I liked closer. However, reading time away from other distractions (i.e. kids) is pretty nice. Plus, my Sundays are no longer taken up with bill paying :)
@jason (audio)books.
A deep music library.
And, no, the answer is not podcasts!
