@SuzanEraslan well said. I came late to the understanding that feelings, while real, aren't the end. My life's road's been far too windy.
@jason If people just let themselves feel these things, they'd pass a lot more quickly than trying to suppress them out of guilt. Emotions are like food-- if you bottle them up and don't release them, they'll eventually poison you. If you process them fully, eventually the shit passes out of you.
