Hello Octodon/Mastodon world... This reminds me of starting Twitter for the first time about eight years ago or more.

I signed up to Twitter about 5 years ago and was quite hesitant to say things because so many people I looked up to were already there. Over here it's a motley crew of strangers (I won't pretend anyone would be so interested in me that anyone not on Mastodon would check my toots), so I don't really care what people think of me as long as I'm not bothering anyone.
