Just had some rando try to sell me on their preferred static site generator, Hugo, and it looks like the only thing Hugo gives me that Pelican does not is speed.
And why should I care about speed when I've already got a shell script that pulls my repository, builds it, and uploads it to my host -- and a cron job that calls it four times a day?
A static site generator only needs to be fast if you run it manually, and why should I do that?
@fluke It beats the shit out of Jekyll, IMO.
