DRM on static content (i.e. movies, music) makes so little sense to me even from a practical perspective... like obviously it is going to be possible to snatch that signal out of an HDMI cable when you convert to some other format, or you can bust out a camcorder, or worst case clamp some pins on a ribbon cable to an LCD panel. IDK why they put so much time and effort into something so futile.
@anymouse_404 a majority of people will give up on ripping it yes, but it won't suppress people torrenting it, unless it's unpopular.
