Is there a way to follow a hashtag? Like have it show up in a timeline? (Does it depend on how I'm accessing things? Tusky on Android...)

@emily yes, you can pin a hashtag. On my screen it looks like three little horizontal lines, click and pin. Hope that helps!

I use Tootdon for reading on Android, it lets you combine up to 5 hashtags into a search list that shows up on your top bar along with home/local/federated TLs. I still have Tusky installed for posting pictures though, because Tootdon doesn't let you add alt text.
