So, what's up?

Randomly, I'm finding that Mastodon is a weird combination of too quiet and way too noisy. No comfy middle ground. Hm.

@dria Find same. Big instance is too noisy and fast, small one is quiet. I kind of like here though.

#Mastodon also needs to remember the location in the timeline. (#Birdsite itself, depending on the client, has this issue too though.)

@dria When it's quiet and I want to read things on #Mastodon, sometimes I dip into the federated timeline (which is too fast and mostly Japanese these days) or view a tag search in the web client (as #Tusky doesn't have this feature yet).
