Yay! Death to fascism!
Looks like the EU is inheriting the mantle of the "Free World". Hope they/we* can make a better and more honest go of it. Although being a free country is a complicated business nowadays.

@Frankenbeans Nothing would make me happier than to see Europe and the USA competing in terms of freedom, democracy, and welfare of the population.
TBH, I'd love to see that become the new space race and for Russia and China to beat us to total freedom and representation!
@derwinmcgeary I am feeling pretty underrepresented at every level but local, so I'd rather see us win that competition for purely selfish reasons.
@Frankenbeans Absolutely! My logic is more that I'm not at all bothered about coming second as long as we're racing in the right direction.
